Rules and Notes
Extended Notes
Apps and who needs them: Copart Member App (for buyers to search/bid/pay, alerts, and access Visitor Sign-In) and Copart Transportation App (required for third‑party transporters; also used by buyers who self-pick up to schedule/check-in). Copart GO and Copart Seller App are for sellers. Virtual Queue/Visitor Sign-In: Copart indicates ‘appointment is required for vehicle pickup’ and visitors should sign in via the QR code or within the Member/Transportation App to hold a place in line. Title handling fees vary across Copart pages: Member Fees KB lists $20/title pickup at a location, while the Vehicle Pick-Up KB shows $30 per title; verify with the Ocala yard before planning in-person title pickup. Copart fee pages show multiple schedules (e.g., Gate Fee $79 on KB vs $95 on fee pages; Environmental Fee $10 vs $15). Treat the Member Fees pages and the US Licensed Fees pages as authoritative for planning, but confirm the latest amounts during checkout. Storage table on the Ocala location page is dated 2019-01-07; Copart also states three business days free including day of sale and that shipping ordered within three days avoids storage fees; confirm current daily storage at the yard.
Pickup Rules
Appointments are required for vehicle pickup. Use Visitor Sign-In to reserve a place in line when you arrive at the location, and schedule a pickup time in advance via the Copart Transportation App (buyers self-hauling) or via transporter assignment. Buyers and transporters should check in upon arrival (mark ‘Arrived’ in the app). Copart staff moves the vehicle to the loading area and loads it onto your trailer or truck. Vehicles may not be driven off the lot (insurance/safety). Copart states three business days free storage including sale day; storage then accrues daily. A Gate Pass PIN is required to schedule and release vehicles for pickup; transporters receive a 4‑digit PIN and lot details by email when assigned.
