What to Expect Before, During, and After You List a Load on Auto Hauler Exchange

When it comes to vehicle transport, speed and control are everything. At Auto Hauler Exchange (AHX), we’ve designed our platform to make load posting seamless, transparent, and efficient. Whether you're listing your first load or your fiftieth, knowing what to expect before, during, and after the process can help you get the most out of the platform—and avoid the delays and markups that come with traditional brokers.

Here’s what to expect at every stage of the AHX experience:

Before You List: Get Set Up for Speed

With all the necessary information, you can post your load on The Exchange in 3 minutes or less.

What You’ll Need:

  • Vehicle VIN(s): Upload one or multiple at a time
  • Pickup and Delivery Locations: Saved addresses make this even faster
  • Vehicle Condition: Identify the vehicle as operable or inoperable
  • Photos or Gate Passes (Optional but Helpful): This helps carrier visibility. Gate passes will never be released to the carrier until they book the load

Pro Tip:

Use our Quote Tool to check market rates before setting your price. You’ll get insights into what similar loads are going for, helping you strike the right balance between speed and cost.

During the Listing: Full Control in Just 3 Steps

Posting on AHX is quick—and packed with smart features that keep you in the driver’s seat.

Step 1: Enter Load Info

Log in to your dashboard, click “Upload”, and enter:

  • VIN(s)
  • Pickup and delivery addresses
  • Pickup and delivery dates

Step 2: Set Price & Preferences

Set your base price and max price. Want to move it fast? Be competitive.

Then upload any documents or photos if needed, and choose an open or enclosed trailer.

Step 3: Submit

Click “Submit”—and your load is now visible to over 5,500+ vetted carriers across the country.

After You Post: What Happens Next?

Once your load is posted, AHX does the rest—while keeping you fully informed and in control.

Carrier Booking & Bidding

Carriers can now book your load directly through the platform.

They also have the ability to bid on your load. If their bid falls within your max price range the load will be automatically dispatched to them at that price.

You’ll be notified immediately when a carrier checks out your load.

Direct Communication

Once booked, you’ll receive the carrier’s contact information. No more going through brokers or playing phone tag. Coordinate directly to confirm pickup and delivery details as needed.

Status Updates & Documentation

Track your load in real-time, view documents, communicate with carriers, and manage delivery details—all in one place.

Payment & Cost Transparency

We pay the carriers on your behalf. No need to worry about cutting checks on delivery. This ensures a secure and streamlined transaction for both parties.

Here’s the Bottom Line

Listing a load on AHX is about more than speed—it’s about control, visibility, and efficiency. With direct access to carriers, smart pricing tools, and real-time updates, you're in full control from start to finish.
