At Auto Hauler Exchange (AHX), protecting your data and your business is our top priority. That’s why we use Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to secure every account on the platform.
2FA adds an extra layer of protection beyond your password — ensuring that only authorized users can access your AHX account, even if login credentials are compromised.
What Is Two-Factor Authentication?
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a security process that requires two forms of verification before granting access to your account:
- Something you know: your username and password.
- Something you have: a verification code sent to your email.
This second step makes it much harder for unauthorized users to access your account — protecting your shipments, payment information, and sensitive business data.
Why 2FA Matters on Auto Hauler Exchange
Vehicle logistics is an industry that’s increasingly targeted by fraud and impersonation attempts. By enabling 2FA across the entire AHX platform, we help ensure that:
- Only verified shippers and carriers can log in.
- Account takeovers and unauthorized access are prevented.
- Every transaction and booking remains secure and traceable.
2FA is one of the many fraud prevention measures built into AHX — alongside verified carrier credentials, automated vetting, and secure in-platform communication.
How 2FA Works on AHX
Every time you log in to Auto Hauler Exchange:
- Enter your username and password.
- You’ll receive a verification code via your registered email.
- Enter that code to complete the login process.
Once verified, you’ll have full access to your dashboard and tools.
2FA for Carriers: Securing Load Access
For carriers on Auto Hauler Exchange, 2FA doesn’t stop at login — it also protects access to shipment details.
When a carrier books a load on AHX, they’ll receive a tender offer email.
To confirm the booking and gain access to the full load information, the carrier must:
- Open the tender offer email from Auto Hauler Exchange.
- Accept the load by clicking the “Confirm Tender Offer” button within the email.
This process serves as an additional 2FA step, confirming that the person accepting the load is authorized under the carrier’s account.
Once the tender offer is accepted, the carrier gains full access to shipment details, pickup and delivery information, and can begin managing the load within the AHX platform.
This added layer of verification prevents fraudulent load acceptance and protects both carriers and shippers from unauthorized users attempting to act on behalf of legitimate companies.
Troubleshooting 2FA
If you’re unable to receive your verification code:
- Check your spam/junk folder.
- Make sure your email is correct in your AHX profile settings.
- If you’ve lost access to your registered email, contact our support team.
