In North Carolina, individuals may purchase salvage-titled items without a broker and some titled items (restrictions may apply). Dealers/dismantlers/general businesses/exporters are recommended to provide operational and sales tax licenses to expand eligibility.

Pickup Rules

For insurance and safety reasons, vehicles cannot be driven off Copart property; proper transport equipment is required. Titles can be mailed, sent with transporter, or picked up in person (fees/POA rules apply).
