Payment method nuances: Copart explicitly states cash is NOT accepted to purchase vehicles and is only for limited fees; credit/debit payments typically capped around $20,000/day; no phone card payments; personal checks not accepted. Fees pages on Copart show differing Gate Fee ($79 vs $95) and Environmental Fee ($0–$15) depending on schedule/version; verify the applicable fee at checkout for your account. Pay within 3 business days and remove within 3 business days to avoid storage. Schedule pickup via the Copart Transportation App (required for self-pickup and third-party transporters). On arrival, use the app/Visitor Sign-In to check in; wait for text and proceed when called. Vehicles cannot be driven off the lot; bring suitable truck/trailer. Copart staff will move vehicles to loading area and load standard vehicles; Medium/Heavy Duty are self-load only. Titles can be mailed (with LPOA) or picked up in person for a per-title fee; expect potential wait times.
