Buyer Fee Details
Online auction wins: 3 business days free (incl. day of sale). Buy It Now purchases: 2 business days free (incl. day of purchase). Storage then accrues daily per posted schedule; weekends/holidays charged unless within the initial free period.
Seller Fees
$89 list fee + 3% of sale price (min $75, max $250) for Copart Dealer Services; $35 for 4th and subsequent reruns. Additional terms apply under the Copart Vehicle Consignment Agreement.
Storage Holding Fees
Free storage: first 3 business days for online auction wins (including day of sale). For Buy It Now purchases: first 2 business days free (including day of purchase). Starting on day 4 (online) or day 3 (Buy It Now), daily storage applies per the posted schedule (e.g., $5 on day 4, then $10–$30/day escalations). Pickup Rules
After paying, arrange removal promptly to avoid storage fees. Options: Copart Delivery (Copart‑arranged transport), self‑pickup using a truck/trailer, or a third‑party transporter. For self‑pickup or third‑party, the Copart Transportation App is required to schedule a pickup appointment and to check in on arrival; staff moves the vehicle to the loading area and loads it onto your truck/trailer. Vehicles cannot be driven off Copart property for legal/safety reasons. Titles may be picked up at the location for a processing fee (Copart help pages list $20–$30 per title; verify with the yard).
