IAA Transport offers door‑to‑door delivery across the continental U.S. and to select international destinations (e.g., several European countries). Buyers can calculate quotes online, purchase transport during payment or pickup, and receive real‑time status updates; IAA Transport support: IAATransport@iaai.com, Toll‑free (855) 694‑7502.
Buyer Fee Details

Who can Register
Individual (Public) buyers can bid where auctions and vehicles are open to the public (varies by state); Licensed Business buyers can bid where their business license meets state requirements. Online registration is available; $200 registration fee due at sign‑up via credit/debit card. Required documents: government‑issued ID (and proof of address if needed); Licensed Business buyers also provide a business license. If public buying is not permitted in your state, IAA prompts you to continue knowing you must use a broker or upgrade to a business account. Note: eSignature not available in Texas for certain tax forms.

Accepted: MoneyGram (same‑day processing; $9,000 per transaction with multiple transactions allowed; CVS and Food Town limited to $2,000 per transaction), PayPal (online/app; per your card/issuer limits), I‑Pay (ACH) for Licensed Business accounts, Credit/Debit Cards (online/app/branch; daily limits $2,500 Public accounts and $20,000 Licensed Business accounts; one year of purchase history required for online card payments), Cash (in‑person; $500 daily limit per branch), Cash equivalents (money orders, cashier’s checks, certified checks, traveler’s checks; check/money order payable to Insurance Auto Auctions/IAA; cashier/official checks must list buyer/owner/employee as remitter). Explicitly not accepted/limits: American Express not accepted; third‑party credit/debit cards prohibited; USPS money orders not accepted starting June 1, 2024; no change provided for cash payments; valid photo ID required for cash/cash equivalent payments.

Pickup Rules
Vehicle pickup hours Mon–Fri 8:00 AM–4:30 PM CT. Branch yards close earlier than the office to allow time for pullout/loading. Transport drivers and towers must wear a highly visible safety vest at all times on IAA property. IAA loaders will not lift anything over 11,000 lbs; transporters must have proper equipment, be qualified to use it, and accept sole responsibility for loading. After payment, vehicles can be picked up during yard hours (IAA notes same‑day pickup when paying at a branch). For certain offsite/Virtual Lane purchases, IAA emails detailed pickup instructions and that email serves as the release form.

Third Party Process
Buyer completes payment or provides invoice for MoneyGram payment; transporter arrives during yard hours, checks in per branch directions, presents release/invoice as applicable, and loads the vehicle using proper equipment (IAA loader limit 11,000 lbs; transporter assumes loading responsibility). Note: The “IAA Tow” app is for IAA’s contracted tow network, not for buyer‑hired third‑party carriers.
