Copart’s fees are based on a percentage of the final price of the vehicle you purchased. Members also pay a Virtual Bidding Fee based on the final sales price, that is never more than $149. A $79 Gate Fee is charged to all purchases when vehicles are picked up. A $10 Environmental Fee is applied to each item sold. Additional fees may apply, such as a $20 In Person Payment Surcharge, $50 Late Payment Fee, and a Vehicle Relist Fee of 10% of the price of the vehicle with a minimum fee of $600 if not paid in full within 8 calendar days.

If a vehicle isn’t picked up by the third business day, including the day of the auction, Copart will charge a vehicle storage fee. This fee varies by location and can be found on the storage site’s Locations page.

Copart offers memberships to both licensed dealers and unlicensed consumers. Registration can be completed online. High volume dealers who purchase 25 cars a year and/or spend $75,000 a year with Copart qualify for additional fee discounts.
