Apps and who uses them: 1) Copart – Online Auto Auctions (iOS/Android) is the buyer/member app for bidding, payments, and accessing a QR gate pass (buyers/self‑pickup). 2) Copart Transportation (iOS/Android) is required for transporters and is also used for self‑pickup appointment scheduling and virtual check‑in; it supports paperless gate passes and queue management. Gate Pass PIN: As of Aug 19, 2023, every vehicle has its own PIN; PIN + Lot Number are required to schedule pickup appointments for both members and transporters. Indiana licensing: the Indiana state page indicates Broker Required for individuals on titled items and salvage; members without required licenses should filter for No License Required lots or use a registered broker. Payment deadline/fees: pay within 3 business days (including day of sale) to avoid a $50 late fee; storage begins after the free period and accrues per the Indianapolis table. Business hours and sale time are local to the yard (ET).

On‑site preview is allowed for Members; safety vests and closed‑toe shoes are required; no test drives; tools (incl. code readers) not allowed; observe Virtual Queue in lobbies.; All auctions are 100% online; participate via Copart.com or Copart Mobile App.; In‑person payments at Copart facilities may incur a $20 per‑vehicle surcharge and long wait times.; Cashier’s checks will no longer be accepted at Copart effective May 5, 2025.
