Auction Delivery Details
Copart Delivery (shipping arranged through Copart’s portal). After winning, view an estimated delivery quote on Payments Due, select Order/Delivery and pay like your vehicle payment. Typical timing: a few business days within ~100 miles of the Copart location; up to ~2–3 weeks if farther.
Buyer Fee Details
3 business days including the day of sale (weekends/holidays are charged unless they fall within the initial free period: first 3 days for online bids; first 2 days for Buy It Now).
Seller Fees
Consignment charges: $89.00 + 3% sale fee, with $75.00 minimum and $250.00 maximum sale fee (total charges typically $164.00 up to $339.00; other fees may apply). Vehicles sold on clean title incur an additional $10 Vehicle History Review fee. Vehicles sold via Make an Offer incur an additional $75 fee. Re-run policy: two re-runs free; from the 4th run onward a $35 per-run fee. Post re-run storage if seller elects not to re-run: starts 7 days after last auction date at $20/day. Storage for vehicles without transferable title: 60 days free, then $5/day beginning on day 61 until title received or sale released. Tow fees may apply per location.

Who can Register
Public (consumer) buyers and business buyers can register online for Copart Membership. In Colorado: Without business licenses, individuals can purchase certain salvage title vehicles; a broker is required for clean title vehicles and for other salvage at Colorado locations. Basic Membership lets you bid up to $2,000 without a deposit; to bid higher as Basic you deposit 10% of desired buying power. Premier Membership requires a one-time $400 refundable deposit and enables up to $100,000 daily buying power. Registration is online via Copart; licensing requirements vary by state.

Authorize via Payments Due by using Send to Transporter; enter transporter’s email so Copart sends pickup instructions. Transporter must use the Copart Transportation app and present/use the Gate Pass PIN for the lot. Copart is not responsible for third-party transporter damage/fees.
Third Party Process
Buyer selects lot(s) on Payments Due, clicks Send to Transporter, and enters transporter email. Transporter receives email with the Gate Pass PIN and instructions, downloads the Copart Transportation app, schedules a pickup appointment, checks in on arrival, and completes pickup steps in the app.

Self Pickup Process
1) Pay in full within 3 business days. 2) From Payments Due, select Schedule Pickup. 3) You’ll receive a confirmation SMS 2 hours before your appointment with a link to check into the Virtual Queue; you can also scan a QR code at the location. 4) On arrival, check in; Copart staff will move the vehicle to the loading area and load it onto your truck/trailer (heavy/medium duty are self-load only).
