As we scale, we're looking for a dynamic and strategic Product Marketing Manager to help define, communicate, and drive the success of our products in the market.

In this role, you’ll be the bridge between our product team, sales team, and customers—responsible for ensuring our product offerings resonate with our target audience and meet the evolving needs of the auto transport industry. You will develop go-to-market strategies, craft compelling messaging, and create resources that help accelerate product adoption and drive revenue growth.

Job Overview:

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product marketing strategy for Auto Hauler Exchange’s portfolio of solutions. You’ll work closely with the product team, sales teams, and customer success to ensure our products are effectively positioned in the market, customers understand their value, and adoption is maximized.

You’ll create go-to-market plans, competitive positioning, customer personas, and sales enablement tools, and leverage customer insights to refine our product offerings. You’ll also work with the product team to message product updates and changes to our customers. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a startup environment, is data-driven, and has a strong understanding of both product marketing and the auto logistics or tech space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches and feature releases. Define clear objectives, customer personas, value propositions, and messaging that align with both market needs and business goals. 
  • Product Positioning & Messaging: Craft compelling messaging and positioning that differentiates Auto Hauler Exchange in the marketplace. Communicate the value of our platform to customers through clear, concise, and impactful content that highlights how we solve key pain points in the auto transport industry.
  • Customer & Market Research: Conduct research to understand customer needs, pain points, and competitive landscape. Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and usage data to continuously refine product positioning, messaging, and feature prioritization.
  • Sales Enablement: Develop sales tools, pitch decks, and customer-facing materials that support the sales team in effectively communicating the product’s value. Train the sales team on product features, benefits, and differentiators to ensure successful customer acquisition.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the product, sales, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on product strategy, positioning, and customer insights. Collaborate on product feedback loops and contribute to product roadmap discussions based on market needs.
  • Competitive Analysis: Track and analyze competitor products and strategies to identify key differentiators and areas for product improvement. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform product positioning.
  • Product Launches: Lead the planning and execution of product launches, including internal alignment, messaging, marketing campaigns, and external communication. Ensure smooth go-to-market execution and maximize product awareness and adoption.
  • Customer Advocacy & Feedback: Gather customer feedback and insights to inform product improvements and marketing strategies. Identify customer success stories and use cases that can be leveraged in case studies, testimonials, and other marketing materials.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product marketing efforts, including product adoption, revenue impact, customer satisfaction, and market share. Use data to evaluate the success of marketing initiatives and make data-driven adjustments.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS, logistics, or tech startups. Experience working on both product launches and ongoing marketing campaigns is a must.
  • Market Knowledge: Understanding of the automotive, transportation, or logistics industries is highly preferred. Experience with SaaS products or platforms will be beneficial, particularly in developing go-to-market strategies for tech-driven solutions.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should be able to clearly articulate complex product features, benefits, and value propositions to both internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Go-to-Market Expertise: Proven experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for new products, with a track record of successful product launches and sales enablement.
  • Data-Driven: Ability to analyze product performance data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform decisions. Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.) to measure the impact of product marketing campaigns.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to juggle multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to collaborate and build relationships with product, sales, customer success, and marketing teams to align on goals and ensure product marketing efforts are fully integrated.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with CRM, marketing automation, and sales enablement platforms (e.g., HubSpot ).
  • Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and digital advertising strategies.
  • Familiarity with customer segmentation and persona development.
  • Startup experience in the tech, logistics, or automotive space.
