IAA Transport offers branch-to-door delivery. U.S. door-to-door to any residential or business address in the continental U.S.; select international delivery available (e.g., Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia). Storage Holding Fees
Number of free storage days: day vehicle was awarded + 4 business days. Purchases must be secured within 5 business days of purchase; after that IAA may relocate the vehicle (standard transport/storage fees apply). Storage fee listed as $50.00 (per day after free period).
Who can Register
IAA accounts can be created online. To bid, upgrade to a paid Buyer account ($200 registration fee). Licensed Business Buyers can bid where their license meets state requirements. Individual (public) buyers must confirm the vehicle is available for public purchase by checking the “Who Can Bid” section on the vehicle detail page. Registration requires government-issued ID and, for business accounts, appropriate licensing; documents can be submitted via the IAA Buyer App or website.

Branch page lists: In-person: Cash, Credit Card (less than $250), Certified Check. Online: I-Pay (Licensed Business Buyers) or Wire Transfer. Company payments page additionally lists: MoneyGram (U.S., up to $9,000 per transaction; multiple transactions allowed), PayPal, Credit/Debit Cards (daily limit $2,500 for Public accounts; $20,000 for Licensed Business; American Express not accepted; processing fee applies), Wire Transfer/Account Credit workflow. Cash accepted in-branch up to $500/day per branch; cashier’s/official bank checks accepted only if remitter matches buyer/owner/employee; USPS money orders not accepted starting June 1, 2024.

Apps and who needs them: Buyers use the IAA Buyer App (to bid, buy, pay, and receive alerts). Transporters/tow partners use the ‘IAA Tow’ app to receive dispatches and manage pickups. IAA Transport can be purchased/managed online and is also integrated in the IAA Buyer App experience. Auctions are all-digital (AuctionNow); no in-lane bidding or branch kiosks. Payment options and limits are stricter online (e.g., no American Express; credit/debit limits; MoneyGram available; USPS money orders not accepted since 6/1/2024).
Pickup Rules
Pickup during yard hours. Vehicles can be picked up on sale day. Transport drivers/towers must wear a highly visible safety vest on IAA property. IAA loaders will not lift items >11,000 lbs; transporters are responsible for loading and must have proper equipment/qualification. Central NJ notes: No loading for units over 9,999 lbs, boats or RVs; carriers picking up more than one unit or special-haul units must arrive 60 minutes before yard closing.

Third Party Requirements
Buyers may arrange their own transporter or use IAA Transport. IAA’s transporter network uses the “IAA Tow” app (exact app name: IAA Tow) for tow partners. Transporters can register as outbound vehicle transporters at an IAA branch and use the app to receive dispatches and schedule pickups.
Third Party Process
Buyer completes payment and coordinates release; transporter checks in during yard hours wearing a safety vest and follows branch loading limits. If using Online Exclusive/Virtual Lane providers, IAA sends an email with pickup instructions and that email serves as the release for pickup.

After payment, check ‘Won Vehicles’ and pickup status; arrive during yard hours. Vehicles can be picked up on sale day. Carriers picking up multiple/special-haul units should arrive at least 60 minutes before yard closing for loading.
