IAA Transport provides door-to-door vehicle delivery within the U.S. and select international markets. Quotes can be calculated online prior to purchase; real-time status updates provided. For international deliveries, ancillary port/customs fees may apply outside IAA’s control.

Who can Register

Guest (free) accounts are available for browsing and attending online auctions, but bidding requires upgrading to a Registered Buyer account. eSignature not available in West Virginia.

Accepted: MoneyGram (U.S. locations; $9,000 per transaction, multiple transactions per day allowed; transporters can pay using buyer’s invoice details), PayPal (online and in Buyer App), I-Pay (ACH; Licensed Business accounts only), credit/debit cards (Visa/Mastercard, no American Express; daily limits $2,500 Public / $20,000 Licensed Business; one year purchase history required for online card payments), wire transfer/account credit (no daily limit), financing (licensed dealers only), cash/cash equivalents in-branch (cash up to $500/day; cashier’s checks, certified checks, traveler’s checks). In-branch payments by cash or check incur a $20 in-branch payment fee. Not accepted: American Express; USPS money orders (not accepted starting June 1, 2024).

Exact app names and who needs them: IAA Buyer App (buyers use it to bid, pay, receive alerts, and participate in Live, Timed, Buy Now, Specialty including Dream Rides and Rec Rides, and Virtual Lane sales). IAA Tow App (IAA tow-network transporters use it for dispatch and scheduling; transporters can register as outbound vehicle transporters at an IAA branch). Payment convenience: MoneyGram allows transporters to pay on a buyer’s behalf using invoice details. Pickup Rules
Vehicles can be picked up on sale day. Yard hours for pickup: Mon–Fri 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. ET (office closes at 5:00 p.m.). Yards close earlier than offices to allow time for pullout/loading. Transport drivers and towers must wear a highly visible safety vest anytime on IAA property. IAA loaders are not permitted to lift anything greater than 11,000 lbs; transporters must have proper equipment and are solely responsible for loading.
