Online only. Bids may be placed via web browsers and the Copart Member App; you may bid from your mobile device while at the yard, but auctions are not conducted in person. Pre-bid, live bid, and Buy It Now available.

Apps and who needs them: Buyers use the “Copart Member App” (search, bidding, payments, notifications, QR gate pass) and may also use Visitor Sign‑In. Transporters (including buyers doing self-pickup) use the exact app “Copart Transportation App” to schedule, check in, and confirm pickup/delivery; first-time transporters receive a download link by email when assigned. Sellers may use the “Copart Seller App” and “Copart GO App” (for listing vehicles) but these are not required for buyer pickup. Storage fee table is displayed on the Sun Valley page with ‘Rates as of: 1/7/2019’; Copart’s help center also notes that storage fees vary by location and to arrange transport promptly to avoid fees. Some Copart fee pages show different gate/environmental fee amounts depending on pricing tier; default Member Fees article lists Gate Fee $79 and Environmental Fee $10, while other fee tables may show alternative amounts for different tiers—confirm fees in your account’s Member Fees area before bidding.

Pickups require scheduling an appointment. For self-pickup or using your own transporter, download and use the Copart Transportation App to schedule, then check in upon arrival. A Gate Pass PIN is required to schedule and release vehicles; Members can share the PIN with transporters via the Payments Due page (“Send to Transporter”). Vehicles cannot be driven off Copart property; bring a truck/trailer or transporter. Titles can be picked up in person for a per‑title fee or mailed with proper Limited POA. Safety rules apply onsite (safety vest and closed‑toe shoes required).
