Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative, highly motivated, and strategic Content Marketing Manager to lead our content initiatives and play a key role in shaping the brand voice for Auto Hauler Exchange. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content creation, SEO, and marketing strategy, with the ability to engage audiences across various channels—from blogs to social media, whitepapers to email campaigns.
You will be responsible for developing and executing content marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, generate leads, and build customer loyalty. As a key member of our marketing team, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience of auto dealers, logistics managers, and transport carriers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy aligned with Auto Hauler Exchange’s business goals. Identify key content themes, topics, and formats that will engage our audience and support lead generation efforts.
- Content Creation: Manage freelancers to produce high-quality content, including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, eBooks, email campaigns, landing pages, podcasts, videos, and social media posts. Ensure content is on-brand, engaging, and tailored to our target audience.
- SEO & SEM Optimization: Implement best practices for SEO to drive organic traffic, including keyword research, on-page SEO, link-building strategies, and performance tracking. Optimize content to ensure maximum visibility in search engines and increase site traffic.
- Social Media & Community Engagement: Manage and grow our social media presence across platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Develop social media content calendars, engage with followers, and grow brand visibility and engagement.
- Content Distribution & Promotion: Oversee the distribution and promotion of content through various channels, including email newsletters, paid ads, and third-party partnerships. Track and analyze content performance to optimize campaigns.
- Analytics & Reporting: Use data-driven insights to measure the success of content marketing efforts. Track KPIs such as website traffic, lead generation, conversion rates, and social media engagement to continuously improve content strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the product, sales, and design teams to align messaging, highlight product features, and ensure consistency across all marketing materials. Collaborate with leadership to brainstorm new content initiatives and drive business growth.
- Brand Storytelling: Build a consistent, authentic, and compelling brand narrative. Share the vision and value of Auto Hauler Exchange in a way that resonates with our audience, ultimately driving customer loyalty.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably in the logistics, automotive, or tech industries. Startup experience is a plus!
- Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities. Able to create content that resonates with both B2B and B2C audiences.
- SEO Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO best practices, tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs), and content optimization strategies.
- Digital Marketing Proficiency: Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot), social media tools, and content management systems (e.g., Webflow).
- Creative & Strategic Mindset: Ability to think creatively while also driving strategic initiatives that align with business goals. You’re equally comfortable developing long-term strategies and executing on the ground level.
- Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to refine content strategies and improve performance.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the automotive, transportation, or logistics industries.
- Familiarity with podcasting tools (Riverside, Spotify, Youtube, etc.).
- Familiarity with PPC campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot etc.).
