Buyer fees vary based on the final sale price, license type, and volume of inventory purchased. For example, for standard non-licensed buyers, fees are 7.5% for vehicles over $15,000. Additional fees may apply, such as a $79 service fee per unit and a $10 environmental fee per sold item.

Policies
・Onsite vehicle preview is available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time the day before the scheduled auction.
・Payment is due by 5:00 p.m. branch local time on the payment due date. Late fees are $50.00 or 2% of the sale price, whichever is greater.

・Accepted methods include cash (up to $500 per day), credit cards (Visa/Mastercard; public buyers up to $2,500 per day, licensed buyers up to $20,000 per day), cashier's checks, wire transfers, and I-Pay (ACH) for U.S. licensed business accounts. Money orders and traveler's checks are not accepted after July 7, 2025.
Pickup Rules
Vehicles can be picked up Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. PT. Vehicles can be picked up on sale day. Transport drivers and towers are required to wear a highly visible safety vest anytime on IAA property. IAA loaders are not permitted to lift anything greater than 11,000 lbs. Transporters must have the correct equipment, the qualification to use the equipment, and acknowledge they are solely responsible for loading these items.

Domestic and Foreign Buyers receive 3 free storage days, including the day the vehicle was awarded. A storage fee of $50.00 per day applies thereafter.
