Buyer Fee Details
Copart’s fees are based on a percentage of the final price of the vehicle you purchased. The main difference in fees is whether Members are licensed dealers or unlicensed consumers. Members also pay a Virtual Bidding Fee based on the final sales price, that is never more than $149. A $79 Gate Fee is charged to all purchases when vehicles are picked up. A $10 Environmental Fee is applied to each item sold.
Extended Notes
To avoid storage fees, pick up your vehicle within three days, including the day of the sale. You won't be charged storage fees if you order Copart Shipping within three days of the sale.
Policies
・A $50 late payment fee is charged if the vehicle amount and all applicable fees aren’t paid within 3 business days, including the day of the auction.
・If a vehicle isn’t paid in full within 8 calendar days, including the day of the auction, the vehicle will be relisted, and the original high bidder will be charged a Relist Fee of 10% of the price of the vehicle with a minimum fee of $600.
・Members who purchase vehicles through a Copart-affiliated third-party finance company will be charged a $69 administrative fee.

・Accepted secure payment methods include wire transfer, ePay, debit card, cashier's check, money order, and company check (subject to prior approval). Non-secure payment methods include credit cards and wallet apps (Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal).
Pickup Rules
After paying in full, arrange for vehicle pickup from Copart. Complimentary storage period varies by location. After the complimentary period, storage fees are incurred for each day the vehicle is stored at the Copart location.

Storage fees are charged daily if you leave your vehicle at a Copart location for longer than three business days. The fee varies by location and can be found on the storage site’s Locations page.
Who can Register
Copart offers different membership levels: Guest Membership (Free) allows browsing without bidding; Basic Membership ($99/year) allows bidding on vehicles up to $2,000; Basic Membership with Deposit ($99/year) allows bidding over $2,000 with a 10% deposit; Premier Membership ($249/year) allows spending up to $100,000 daily with a $400 refundable deposit.
